The
legend of 1005 Greenwood is one that is rich in history
and question. The story goes that during the early 1920's
many of the early Atlanta aristocrats lived in the Highlands
and surrounding areas.
During
these lavish days, Halloween parties were not only places
to see and be seen, but also events that would allows partners
to "experiment" if you know what I mean. Jane and
Tarzan would arrive at the party together and Jane would be
seen with the ape later in the evening.
1005
Greenwood was infamous for having the most important
costume party on the social calendar. No expenses would be
spared. That's what the aristocrats loved so much about these
parties, they would be lavish and so would their behavior.
No repercussions.
- Chuck Balluckman, Famous Historian
And so
we continue that tradition to this day, with no repercussions.
Hope to see you there.
